This radiator fan is plug n play for the 01+ Subaru WRX and STi. Fan may fit other Subaru vehicles check to see if you have a 4pin clip there or send us a picture. Fitted with the stock connector for direct installation. Can replace your AC fan also, as its the same clip. Your stock fan is a 4 wire multi speed fan and there can technically be a low medium and high setting. This is just for noise (creature comforts). With our fan whatever speed is sent to the fan it runs on high and high only. Since our radiator fans are for performance our motors dont have 4 separate brushes or contacts inside them for low or medium speeds which would only increase the price. These are perfect for most applications. Doubled on long radiators for max cooling. These are also reversible so use as a pusher or puller. You can switch the pins in the connector to change the + and - wires... then unbolt the blades and turn upside down. You can mount on the front of the radiator or air conditioning condenser if needed.
